Dr. Isabel Hetram, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Isabel was raised on a small hobby farm in Bolton, north of Toronto. This is where she learned to love animals; helping raise goats, chickens, cats, dogs, calves and horses. She graduated from Guelph University with a Bachelor of Science and her DVM degree in 1994. She spent one year working with large animals at Elmscot Vet Services in Brantford and then bought the Caledonia Veterinary Clinic with her husband Vinny in 1995. In the past 20 years she has developed her interests in behaviour, dentistry and soft tissue surgery. In her free time she enjoys training dogs and cats, hiking, canoeing and kayaking, gardening, reading and watching movies.
Fun fact: Vinny and Isabel and their Border Collie Skor with the Instant Replay Flyball team held the record for the fastest team in flyball in North America in 1998 and 1999. The team performed flyball in New York for the Tonight Show with David Letterman.
